THE authorities of the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State Thursday, 11 May 2023, released the names of 19 academic staff members promoted to full professors and 22 others promoted to Reader, otherwise known as Associate Professors on 21 and 22, March 2023.
According to the institution’s Registrar, G. O. Saliu, among the newly promoted professors is the late Dr C. R. Nwozo (posthumous) from the Department of Mathematics. His promotion, announced nine years after he was due, takes effect from 1 October 2014. Investigations revealed that Nwozo died in 2018.
