The Super Falcons of Nigeria will now play hosts Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in the semi-final of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Super Falcons defeated the Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon 1-0 in the quarter-final to book a place in the last four against the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco who themselves beat Botswana 2-1 in the last eight.
Nigeria have now kept three clean sheets (2-0 against Botswana, 4-0 against Burundi and 1-0 against Cameroon) to book a place in the semis.
Hosts Morocco, have also won all their four games (1-0 against Burkina Faso, 3-1 against Uganda, 1-0 against Senegal and 2-1 against Botswana in the last eight.
The other semi-final will see the Banyana Banyana of South Africa take on The Shepolopolo of Zambia.
Both semi-final fixtures will be played on Monday 18th at 7 pm.
