Female UNIZIK Student Baths Hostel President With Hot Water, Stabs Him 

CHIOMA A 200-level student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka has allegedly poured hot water on the president of her hostel, Mark, over a disagreement on hostel cleaning.

The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday, 17th February 2024, at Twins Fall Lodge, Ifite-Awka. 

According to Valentine Mbadugha, Chioma also stabbed Mark, a third-year Agricultural Economics student, in the process leading to his being rushed to a hospital for medical attention.

The disagreement between both students was said to have started over sanitation in the school hostel where both of them resided, where Mark was said to be the hostel president.

Chioma was said to have reacted violently when Mark reminded him of her duty to join others in ensuring that the hostel was kept clean.

The State Police Command’s Spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga could not confirm this at the time of filing this report.
