Herbert Wigwe, Access Holdings CEO, Dies In Chopper Crash In USA

THE Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe, has been reported dead.

Eighteen-Eleven Media gathered that a chopper transporting the banker and the founder of Wigwe University, crashed and killed him as well as about 5 others in California.

Sources said the chopper was headed to Las Vegas when it crashed near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night. The US government confirmed all onboard dead.

Unconfirmed reports say that his wife and son were also on board.

His family was based abroad while he lived in Lagos.

He was apparently in the USA to see them before this accident that claimed his life and that of his son and wife.

They were said to be on their way to watch the Superbowl. The annual final season game of the American Football League will be held in Las Vegas, Tomorrow, Sunday.

Six passengers were said to be on board with no survivor found yet.
