Lagos To Extend BRT Bus Services To Badagry
THE member representing Badagry Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Bonu Solomon Saanu has disclosed that the Lagos State government will soon deploy Lagos Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) to Badagry routes.
Hon Saanu stated this to while speaking with Badagry Parrot News, noting that his office had earlier on 5th March 2024 addressed a letter to the Managing Director of Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) following the announcement by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu regarding the reduction of fare across Lagos State.
Bonu explained that unlike what was obtained before now, Badagry Road is now motorable for BRT buses to operate perfectly on that axis of the state.
The former lecturer at the Lagos State University said the deployment of BRT buses will help reduce the level of hardship faced by the people, accommodate more people for easy mobility with comfort, and further promote the good works of Mr Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the area.
