NBBF Rolls Out Programmes For Last Quarter 2022

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), has made public its programmes of activities for the domestic season.

The Federation came out with the programme on Wednesday after its third board meeting presided over by President Engineer Ahmadu Musa Kida in Abuja.

NBBF will jump-start its activities for the rest of the year with a refresher course for referees and table officials that is likely to be held in Lagos in September.

This will be followed by the Men’s Division One and Two leagues as well as the Women’s Zenith League the same month.

Two new competitions, the NBBF Universities Basketball Invitational Championship and the NBBF Military and Para Military Basketball Championships, will be staged later in the year.

These competitions are aimed at unearthing the talents in these institutions and developing them for future international competitions for all the various national teams.

The first NBBF Military and Para Military Basketball Championships are scheduled to hold in November this year while the NBBF Universities Basketball Invitational Championship is fixed for the last month of the year.

The NBBF President, Engineer Ahmadu Musa Kida assured NUGA President Mr Emeka Ogbu and the Acting Scribe of Nigeria University Games Association (NUGA), Chidiebere Ezeani who paid a surprise visit to the Board in Abuja that the Federation will continue to collaborate and support NUGA in all its activities.

•National NBBF Under 18 Invitational Championship
•AMK Under 18 National 3×3 Invitationals Championship
•41st NBBF Military and Para Military Basketball Championship all in November
•NBBF Universities Basketball Invitational Championship in December
