NIGERIA’S Super Eagles emerged as the better side with a 1-0 win over the Sable Antelopes of

Angola, securing their place in the semi-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). 

Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s triumph, scoring the decisive goal four minutes before halftime, giving his team the lead over Angola in the quarter-finals of the continental tournament.
