Word On Marble: Buhari On Osun Gov’ship Election
The outcome of the Osun State governorship election gives me hope that we are succeeding in our electoral processes, and we must respect the wishes of the electorates.
I am impressed by the outcome of the recent governorship elections in Anambra, Ekiti and Osun where neither I nor the Presidency interfere.
The era of using Presidential fiat to influence victories for candidates of the ruling party is over.
The APC lost the governorship elections in Anambra and Osun but won Ekiti.
I want Nigerians to know that we respect them, and to show that we will allow them to vote for who they want.
