30-Years-Old Man Rapes Boss’ 20-Year-Old Daughter Inside Church Auditorium

A young man has, aside from betraying the trust his female boss had in him, committed an abominable sin of desecrating the sanctity of a church by forcefully sleeping with the said boss’ 20-year-old daughter in a church auditorium.

The 30-year-old randy suspect, Ajibola Akindele, was detailed to accompany the girl to decorate a church at Ita-Oshin in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on 16th April 2022, for the church’s Easter special service.

DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, said: “On getting to the church, the girl and her assaulter met some women congregants sweeping the premises, in preparation for the Easter Sunday service. But no sooner than the women left, the suspect exploited the opportunity to actualise his longing for a coitus affair with the hapless girl and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her inside the church auditorium.

Sequel to the sexual assault on her daughter, the victim’s mother complained to the Lafenwa Police Division and the DPO, CSP Kayode Shadrach, the Oyeyemi said, “detailed his detectives to go after the suspect and bring him to justice”.

“The detectives quickly moved into the scene and promptly arrested him. The suspect has since confessed to the crime”, Oyeyemi said.

To this end, the State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
