CUPP Appoints lkenga Imo Ugochinyere As Spokesperson Of Opposition Lawmakers

THE Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream), Barr lkenga Imo Ugochinyere, has been appointed by the Coalition of United Political Parties in Nigeria (CUPP) as the Spokesperson of the Nigerian opposition coalition lawmakers in the 10th National Assembly.

A letter signed by High Chief Peter Ameh, the National Secretary of CUPP, dated 22 March 2024, conveyed the appointment to Hon Ugochinyere, who represents the ldeato North-South Federal Constituency in the lower chamber of the National Assembly. 

The letter read thus: “This is to convey to you, the decision of the Coalition of United Political Parties in Nigeria (CUPP) appointing you as the Spokesperson of the Nigerian Opposition Coalition Lawmakers in the 10th National Assembly.

“This selection is sequel to your outstanding and sterling performance when you previously served as the Spokesperson for the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) before your election into the Parliament as Member Representing ldeato North/South Federal Constituency by the people of ldeato.

“The Nigerian Opposition Coalition is looking up to you to provide the needed voice for the Coalition of Opposition Parties in the Parliament and provide the needed unblemished image for the Coalition of Opposition Party Lawmakers in the Parliament, in conjunction with leading members of the Grand Alliance.”
