Okada Riders On Rampage In Abuja, Two Dead

Eighteen-Eleven Media correspondent who is at the scene reports that what led to the melee started when an Okada man ran a woman under an articulated vehicle and the woman was killed instantaneously. However, rather than show empathy or offer any assistance whatsoever, he jumped out of the Okada and tried to escape from the scene.

Bystanders however who were bewildered at what happened pursued and apprehended him and subsequently unleashed jungle justice on him by killing him in return.

The development irked other riders and they started a massive riot and rampage. A number of shops in the area have been looted.
