Osinachi’s Husband, Pastor Nwachukwu Arrested For Murder
Following the death of popular Nigerian gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu Saturday, reports have it that the alleged killer husband of the gospel minister Pastor Peter Nwachukwu has been arrested.
A friend of the deceased, Barrister Chidinma who initially shared her story on Facebook said the singer’s husband has been arrested in connection with her death.
The “Ekwueme” singer, who was allegedly killed by her husband after she was beaten and kicked in the chest, was rushed to the hospital and was placed on life support for some days before she finally gave up the ghost on Saturday.
The post explained that Osinachi spent five days on life support at the hospital after her husband kicked her in the chest.
The said Barrister Chidinma was a friend of the late singer and she reportedly confided in her about what she was going through in her matrimonial home as she claimed she was constantly abused and maltreated by her husband. She also said, Minister Osinachi was advised to leave the marriage but she said: “if not for the church and what people will say, I would have left this marriage.”
The singer’s death was initially attributed to throat cancer. However, there are reports that she died as a result of domestic violence and constant battering from her husband.
