A class teacher in a private nursery and primary school in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has landed in trouble owing to his inability to exercise restraint and put his canal craving in check.

The 25-year-old suspect, Ayobami Oluwatobiloba Runsewe, apparently did not think of the aftermath of his action, should his 13-year-old pupil open up and spill the bean on the illicit sexual activity she was subjected to by the randy teacher.

Ayobami, it was learnt, after school hours and the mandatory school lesson at about 4:30 pm on 19th May 2022, lured the girl to his residence in the Ayegbami area of Ago-Iwoye and forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.

Somehow, the assaulted girl’s mother got to know of the incident and could not bear it; she made for Ago-Iwoye Police Division with her daughter in tow where she lodged a complaint against the randy ‘master’

According to the Ogun State Police Command spokesman (PPRO), DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement said: “The blood-soaked pants of the victim was brought to the station as evidence”.

The PPRO said further that, based on the complaint, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), SP Noah Adekanye, detailed his detectives to the scene, where the randy teacher was promptly arrested, adding that on interrogation, he initially denied committing such an atrocity “but later owned up to it when confronted by the girl.

In that light, the state Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
