Tinubu Returns To Nigeria After Netherlands, Saudi Arabian Trips

PRESIDENT Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his aides today returned to Nigeria from Europe, a statement by the Presidency has said.

The Special Adviser on Information and strategy to the president, Bayo Onanuga, had in a statement via his X handle on Tuesday, said the President would come back on Wednesday.

President Tinubu left Abuja on 22 April 2024 for the Kingdom of The Netherlands for a meeting with the Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, from where he took a trip to Saudi Arabia to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF).

The president was expected back in the country after the forum in Saudi Arabia, but he did not return, fueling speculations about his whereabouts.

It was later reported that he travelled to Europe after the summit.
