Driver Slaughters 80-Yr-Old Boss And His 79-Yr-Old Wife In Their Abuja Apartment, Flees To Kogi
OPERATIVES of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested a driver who allegedly slaughtered his boss and wife in their Abuja home.
The octogenarian, Adebola Ezekiel, who was in a wheelchair and his septuagenarian wife, Abiodun Ezekiel, had their throats slit allegedly by Jonathan Marcus, said to be their former driver. He was said to have also used a dagger on the couple. The reason for his action is still unknown.
The incident happened at their residence at Apo Legislative Quarters on 1 April 2024.
One of the couple’s sons was said to have called someone in the neighborhood to help him check on his parents who had not been picking up his calls.
The door was reportedly locked when the person got there, and the son ordered him to break the door to the house to find out what was happening.
“One of the windows was forced open and the remains of the deceased persons were found in a pool of blood.”
The driver was later trailed to his hideout in Obajana, Kogi State and arrested.
He has reportedly confessed to having gained access to the house, slit the throats of the aged couple and stole their phones and ATM cards.
