Troops Now To Secure Power Infrastructure As TCN Collaborates With Nigerian Army
THE Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) Osogbo Region is collaborating with the Nigerian Army to secure power infrastructures within the region.
This was discussed Wednesday 17 April 2024 when Brig. Gen. Aliyu Abdulkareem led a team from the Engineering Construction Command of the Nigerian Army Engineers, on a courtesy call to the region.
Speaking, AGM (T), Engr. Adeonipekun Adeshina emphasized collaboration in the fight against vandalism, saying, it disrupts bulk power transmission to electricity distribution companies (DisCos) and gulps a lot of funds earmarked for other projects.
On his part, General Abdulkareem reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigerian Army to protecting national assets.
