Eniola Ajao Reacts To Arrest, Prosecution Of Bobrisky

NOLLYWOOD actress, Eniola Ajao has reacted to the arrest and prosecution of controversial cross-dresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye (socially known as Bobrisky).

Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had invited the 31-year-old following a video report of spraying and flaunting wads of new Naira notes at the premiere of a movie, Ajakaju, produced by Eniola Ajao, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on 24 March  2024.

Bobrisky was later arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on a four-count amended charge bordering on abuse of Naira notes. He pleaded guilty to the charge and is due to be sentenced on 9th April 2024. 

Meanwhile, reacting to trivials of the self-acclaimed social media influential, Eniola Ajao said: “My thoughts and prayers are with Bobrisky.”

The actress further said: “The gbas-gbos since the premiere (of her movie) started are on another level.”

“I pray Mummy of Lagos gets home safely.

Please, EFCC, help us. We have learned our lessons; we will do better and stop spraying money.”

Bobrisky has in the meantime remanded in EFCC custody till 9th April, 2024.
