Federation Cup: EFCC FC Defeats Osun United 4-2
THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Football Club (EFCC FC), on Wednesday, 1 May 2024 defeated their counterparts, Osun United FC 4-2 in the ongoing Federation Cup competition.
The game, which took place in front of sports lovers and cheerleaders at the Akwa Stadium in Anambra State, saw the EFCC team defeat their opponent in a penalty shootout which ended 4-2 after a breathtaking 1-1 draw during full time of play.
Recall that team EFCC won the FCT FA Cup to secure a ticket at this season`s Federation Cup, therefore securing three points against Osun United FC, thus qualifying for the round of 32 which brings it a step closer to the finals.
